This form is for gas retailer use only, please contact your retailer directly if you require a new gas connection at your premises.

AL12 meter is capable of 445MJ/hr at 1.25kPa & 940MJ/hr at 2.75kPa. AL12 or smaller meters do not require a submission of a Commercial Gas Request through this web form.

Due to the ongoing global supply chain challenges, ATCO suppliers have advised significant time frame increases in the supply of parts required to construct meter facilities. ATCO is working with its suppliers and investigating alternatives as a matter of urgency to mitigate these impacts to meter facility delivery.

Unfortunately the previously advised delivery times for certain meter facility installations are no longer achievable. Meter facility lead times will be provided at the time of an offer letter on a case-by-case basis depending on the user specific requirements.

In case of an emergency, ATCO may require access to the installed gas meter

A Design Consultant may be a Mechanical Engineer, Plumbing Designer, Hydraulic Consultant, Developer, Project Manager, or Architect, who is undertaking consumer gas design for their Client.

Please Note: Diversified Peak Load should take into account the customer’s specific gas usage and operating profile of appliance

The "Other" option should only be selected for supply pressures greater than 10kPa

Example: 500 GJ/PA is 0.5 TJ/PA

Telemetry equipment is required for Annual Consumption >10TJ/year and optional for <10TJ/year

By submitting this Commercial Gas Request you agree to the following:

No contract for the establishment or modification of the connection will come into effect until such time as ATCO issues to the retailer the terms of that contract (including completed Contract Particulars) and the retailer accepts those terms.
The retailer warrants it has the consent of the end-use customer to make an application for construction of a new or altered connection.
The retailer must keep strictly confidential all information provided to it by ATCO. However information may be disclosed, on a confidential basis, as required by law, to the retailer’s legal, accounting and other professional advisers and to the end-use customer as required to progress the retailer’s contractual arrangements with that customer.
ATCO will respond to the application within the timeframes required by law. ATCO generally seeks to make offers within 25 days of receipt of application but the only timeframes which bind ATCO are those set out in the National Gas Rules and other legislative instruments.”
